6 months, huh?

It's been a while! Unfortunately, you're not gonna get much today. I just wanted to keep all you WSU alumni in on the WSU rumor mill. Rumor has it that Hillary Clinton is speaking at spring commencement. If it's true, I DEFINITELY will not be attending (sorry Rachel), and might be forced to break ties with Wright State altogether. I realize that WSU is a pretty cool place to be, but I highly, highly doubt she would bother with such "small potatoes".

Who thinks it's true?

OK, here it is.

**How many times can I rightfully wear a pair of jeans between washings?**

I'm not going to lie. I usually get 4-5 days out of them. In fact, I wore my favorite jeans on Wednesday (because we were supposed to be in the Homecoming parade), I wore them today (because we WERE in the Homecoming parade), and I'm going to wear them tomorrow to set up for Homecoming. There, I've said it and I feel better. Besides, they're made of denim, not steel. Overwashing is the #1 reason for premature jean death. We don't like to see that happen, now do we? Anyways, if there's ever a point that I smell because of my overstimulated pants, feel free to inform me. I'll be glad to accomodate your requests. Until then, I say 'game on!!!'. They're good for a few more.....

PS, For those of you in the "real world", would you agree that it is extremely satisfying to not dress up every once in a while? Wearing my favorite jeans, WSU hoodies, and Nikes has never felt so good!!

For this weekend.....

Susie & I (and whoever else wants to go) are going camping this next weekend. Last year I had to miss the only camping outing because I had a terrible cold.

Please pray for our health, that we would stay healthy so we can enjoy God's beauty and each other's fellowship in a weekend full of fun!!

Please also pray for the weather, that it would be warm and dry enough for a good time.

I got to share Jesus with a girl my age in St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City..... during Mass..... even though I had laryngitis!!! It was so amazing how I asked God to use me and He did. I cried my eyes out afterwards; it was truly one of the most amazing moments of my life. Ask me about it some time.

You probably won't believe it, but.....

I fell asleep in my very first class as a grad student at WSU!! Honestly, 3 1/2 hours two nights a week..... just what AM I thinking?!? I'm taking one grad class this B term called Legal and Ethical Decision Making (blah blah blah). Anyways, we're on our first break and I can tell it's going to be a LLLLOOOOOOOONNNG 5 weeks. At least I'll be 10% done with the class after tonight!!
